This role focuses on fostering technical collaboration across multiple product groups, ARTs, journeys, and Digital Channels to align on shared technology goals and architecture standards. The Manager, Engineering will lead the execution of ART features and modernization across product teams, ensuring platform strategies scale effectively. They will ensure teams are building and utilizing reusable, scalable components, driving AI adoption, automation, and technical efficiencies. This role involves leading efforts to design and implement foundational platform architecture (aligning with Mobile, Online, and Salesforce), identifying and prioritizing foundational initiatives like security and performance optimization, and providing technical leadership for EasyApply and Discovery assets. The Manager will work with teams to ensure service design standards are prioritized, provide guidance to horizontal teams contributing to the platform, and partner with offshore teams to accelerate delivery timelines and maintain quality. They will also support the coordination and quality of deliverables from offshore teams, partner with BOM, Finance, and practices for financial and feature management, and hold accountability across core platform assets, tooling for development and release, and EA Legacy & Evolution competency. Continued Technology Strategy and Intake support is also a key aspect of this role, ensuring Platform Dev, BSA, and QE resources are present in ARTs, which requires people leadership.
