About The Position

Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a distinguished RN leader to serve as the Manager of Emergency Services. In our Emergency Department, we prioritize an exceptional balance of high-acuity clinical excellence and a deeply rooted culture of professional camaraderie. This role is designed for a decisive, strategic leader who can navigate the complexities of emergency medicine while maintaining the approachable, supportive atmosphere for which our facility is recognized. The Manager will oversee a highly synchronized team that proactively collaborates to ensure patient safety and staff well-being, partnering with approachable physicians who value the clinical expertise of our nursing staff and prioritize transparent communication. As Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our open-door policy, dedicated to the growth and advocacy of your team.

Requirements

  • Current Arizona RN license
  • Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school
  • Emergency Department nursing required
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • TNCC certification
  • Handle with Care certification within 6 months of hire/transfer

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred
  • Proven leadership experience in the Emergency Department preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • May provide patient care when necessary.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
