About The Position

We are seeking a distinguished RN leader to serve as the Manager of Emergency Services. This role involves overseeing a highly synchronized team that proactively collaborates to ensure patient safety and staff well-being, partnering with approachable physicians who value nursing expertise and transparent communication.

Requirements

  • Current Arizona RN license
  • Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care within 6 months of hire/transfer
  • Emergency Department nursing required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred
  • Proven leadership experience in the Emergency Department preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
