Manager, Data Services

The Manager of Data Services at Bloomerang is responsible for overseeing the operations of client services and leading a team of Data Services Associates and Engineers. The primary focus of this role is to ensure effective support for client data service needs, with a strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in C# programming. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and develop custom code solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve data services processes. Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.

• Lead and manage a team of data services associates and engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful deployment of data service requests
• Understand client's unique platform needs and translate them into technical and deliverable metrics
• Oversee the design, development, and testing of custom code solutions using SQL and/or C#
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to the data services team
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
• Continuously monitor and improve data services processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Proactively manage all projects and identify risks
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams
• Proven experience in a leadership role within data services or software development
• Extensive experience with SQL queries and relational databases
• Proficiency in designing and developing code solutions using C#
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Excel, database backups, and/or database mapping
• Strong project management abilities, including task prioritization and managing multiple projects

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, cross-functional teams, and leadership
• Proven experience in a leadership role within data services, database management or software development using relational databases
• Extensive experience with SQL queries designed to meet client needs
• Proficiency in designing and developing code solutions using C#
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Experience with Excel, database backups, and/or database mapping
• Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects

• Compensation: Salary range of $75,000 - $102,500, with potential for a discretionary bonus based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
