About the position
The Manager, Corporate Development at The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation (TOI) will be responsible for supporting corporate and business development functions and growth initiatives. They will assist in the evaluation and execution of oncology services mergers/acquisitions, as well as other business development and partnership opportunities. The Manager will work closely with key stakeholders throughout the full business development process and collaborate with leaders and teammates across all functions of the organization. This role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, including corporate/business development experience, and a bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related analytical field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support corporate and business development functions and growth initiatives
- Assist in the evaluation and execution of oncology services mergers/acquisitions
- Assist in identifying appropriate acquisition targets and engage in discussions with business owners
- Prepare initial assessments and financial analyses of identified acquisition opportunities
- Support the operations of the business/corporate development group
- Work across the organization to ensure transactions and opportunities successfully move to closure
- Develop financial models and customer/prospect pitch decks
- Conduct industry and market research and competitive analysis
- Provide analytic support in planning and executing acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives
- Participate in meetings and due diligence sessions with targets
- Prepare presentations on proposed transactions and participate in presentations to senior management
- Project management for due diligence and integration planning processes
- Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams
- Assist with proposal development for potential acquisition candidates
- Collaborate with the Finance team to build models
- Support deal team and other leaders in developing and presenting executive-level memoranda, presentations, and detailed financial analysis
- Prepare presentations for periodic transaction updates and final transaction approvals
- Have a bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related analytical field preferred
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, including corporate/business development experience
- Healthcare knowledge and related experience required.

- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in corporate/business development, strategic consulting, banking, private equity, or investing preferred
