Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited school.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in project management within the AEC industry
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
  • Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam Revu.
  • Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-based design tools such as BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office and construction field environment.
  • Must be able to work onsite at a WSB office, or construction field office's needed, up to five days per week, as required by the project, client, or hiring manager.
  • Travel or field visits may be required to support project needs or stakeholder collaboration.
  • Travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all phases of project delivery, including Inspection, testing, permitting, and construction administration.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines and financial targets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians; promote collaboration and accountability.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies; ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage contracts, subconsultant agreements, and change orders; ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Track project financial performance, including invoicing, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to internal leadership and clients.
  • Assist with proposal preparation, fee estimates, and client presentations to secure new work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • May remain in stationary position for extended periods.
  • Executes specific goals & operational plans for assigned teams against Group plans.
  • Plans for upcoming work, allocates budgets, & schedules needed resources.
  • Maintains adherence to quality standards and administrative policies (e.g., time sheets, expense reports).
  • Leads people through coaching and development, effective performance management, and hiring and workforce planning.
  • Oversees budgets and project portfolios aligned to team goals.
  • Manages risk and resource planning for successful delivery.
  • Manages day-to-day client relationships, ensuring consistent communication, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
  • Builds strong client relationships that support retention and repeat work.
