About The Position
Manages clinical services, systems, and performance improvement activities using a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Collaborates with leadership to develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Integrative Health Program. Manages operational, personnel, and financial aspects of the program as needed and serves as a resource for hospital staff and pre-hospital providers. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- Certification and/or licensure as a Massage Therapist, Holistic Nurse, or Reflexology Practitioner.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Nurse Executive to establish nursing care standards and evaluate staff compliance.
- Identify research protocols affecting the patient population served and keep nursing staff informed.
- Facilitate effective provision of support services essential to patient care.
- Maintain a safe, caring environment conducive to positive health teaching and maintenance, and address patient and family expectations of care by developing mechanisms to assess them.
- Develop unit goals and objectives that support institutional values and goals, with input from staff.
- Promote culturally sensitive patient care and role-model sensitivity for staff.
- Provide intramural and extramural education for professional staff related to patient care, including pre-hospital education for staff.
- Manage the program’s operational, personnel, and financial aspects as needed.
- Serve as an internal resource for staff throughout the hospital and an external resource for pre-hospital providers.
- Assist with research and protocol design, data collection, analysis, and publication efforts.
- Perform related duties as required.
