About The Position

Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+. Our air-launched, Talon testbeds are reusable, cost-effective platforms that enable routine access to the hypersonic environment. We deliver flight data critical to validating system performance and achieving rapid technology deployment. Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security. The Manager of Business Systems is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's business systems and applications. This role ensures that business processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives. The manager leads a team of analysts and administrators, collaborates with stakeholders across departments, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support organizational growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing business systems or similar roles.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, QMS, MES, PLM, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • BS or applicable experience in lieu of degree

Nice To Haves

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience with Costpoint, Manufacturo, Veryon, QT9, Jira, and Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and support of core business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS).
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or system enhancements to improve business processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business systems analysts and administrators.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Manage system implementation, upgrade, and integration projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Work closely with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between IT, vendors, and business units.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate processes.
  • Develop and document best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for end-users.
