About The Position

Provides strategic and operational leadership for Biobank and Research Laboratory Services. The role oversees daily operations, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, departmental policies and SOPs, staffing, training, performance management, process improvement, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration to support efficient and effective research operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of applicable experience.
• A minimum of four years of full-time general laboratory training and experience.
• A minimum of two years acquiring proficiency in biorepository operations and management.
• Professional, scientific, and educational knowledge of Biobank services.
• Demonstrated experience in administration and staff management.
• Good organizational and personnel management skills.
• Meet IRB Principal Investigator requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot departmental issues.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Business skills and strategic planning acumen.

• Master's or Professional Degree.
