About The Position

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Athletic Training Services to lead and support a team of athletic trainers delivering high-quality care across partner schools, events, and community organizations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Current Alabama Athletic Trainer license (in good standing)
  • Current CPR certification (ARC or AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of athletic trainers, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, documentation practices, and patient care protocols
  • Oversee emergency action planning and ensure safety standards at all covered events and locations
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with physicians, EMS teams, schools, and community organizations
  • Manage staffing schedules, including PRN/on-call coverage for events and contracted services
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding while ensuring certification and compliance requirements are met
  • Monitor operational performance, including expense and revenue management
  • Conduct site visits and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Support patient care delivery and coordination across multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain high standards for customer service, quality care, and team collaboration
