About The Position

The Horsham Clinic is seeking an energetic, creative, and mission-focused Dietary Manager. This role provides supervision and coordination of cooks and utility persons to maintain high standards of quality food production, safety, sanitation, and service in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Dietary Manager is responsible for ordering, receiving, and storage of goods and supplies, coordination of special functions and in-services, and coordination of kitchen equipment repair. This position prepares and directly oversees all food production for patients, staff, and visitors, and is responsible for containing costs and maintaining the departmental budget.

Requirements

  • Five years in a management position
  • Knowledge of basic food science, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety and infection control practices.
  • Certified Food Handler.
  • Valid PA Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision and coordination of cooks and utility persons.
  • Maintains high standards of quality food production, safety, sanitation, and service.
  • Orders, receives, and stores goods and supplies.
  • Coordinates special functions and in-services.
  • Coordinates repair of kitchen equipment.
  • Prepares and directly oversees all food production for service to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Contains costs and maintains the departmental budget.
  • Plans and schedules all employees in the department.
