Manager, Assisted Living - LPN Required
About The Position
The Manager, Assisted Living oversees team member recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and staffing, and implements resident-centered care. The role provides nursing care to residents, including health assessments and care plans, discussing changes in resident condition with physicians, developing fall-reduction interventions tailored to individual needs, administering medications, and assisting with resident care as needed. In coordination with the community’s multidisciplinary team, the manager coordinates resident admissions, including screening, assessment, and care planning. The position may occasionally cover weekend shifts as Manager-On-Duty.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Candidates may be considered with caregiver certifications beneficial to the community plus management experience.
- Strong background in patient care assessment, assessing resident symptoms, and developing approaches to meet resident needs.
- Experience in community or long-term care settings.
- Must meet all state requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1–2 years of management experience directing or providing care for seniors preferred.
