About The Position
The Manager of Application Support serves as an applications support resource for the selection, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of systems supporting hospital information systems. The role leads IT teams responsible for Inpatient, Emergency Department, and Quality applications, including implementation, support, and optimization of EpicCare Inpatient, ASAP, Healthy Planet, and related third-party clinical applications. The manager partners with clinical, quality, and operational teams to support successful implementations, reliable systems, effective workflows, and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, or equivalent education/experience.
- Sufficient experience with applications used in a healthcare setting or a directly related field.
- Demonstrated experience in needs assessment and identification and evaluation of alternative information systems.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital operations preferred.
