About The Position

Lantronix is seeking a strategic, audit-ready, hands-on Information Systems Manager to lead its technology organization. The role leads a lean internal team and external implementation partners, with the goal of establishing a secure, low-overhead, automated systems environment that supports global operations and passes Sarbanes-Oxley audits with zero deficiencies. The position also leads ERP strategy and systems, SOX compliance and IT controls, and Data Warehouse and BI strategy. It oversees ERP architecture and implementation, system integrators and vendors, IT General Controls and Segregation of Duties, data migration and change-management audit trails, data warehouse strategy, and executive dashboards and reporting. The role is hybrid in Plymouth, Minnesota, traditionally in the office Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday. Base salary starts at $145,000 annually, with a 15% bonus target.

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT/IS management, with a proven track record leading teams in mid-market or enterprise settings.
  • Direct experience managing or heavily participating in a full-lifecycle ERP migration; experience transitioning from legacy ERPs to modern SaaS ERP platforms is preferred.
  • Proven experience overseeing data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, or Tableau.
  • Experience managing systems through active corporate M&A integrations.
  • Deep understanding of public company compliance mandates, specifically SOX Section 404 IT General Controls and Segregation of Duties.
  • Solid grasp of hybrid business models combining physical inventory/serialized distribution tracking with recurring subscription/service contract billing under ASC 606.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including translating complex technical risks into clear strategic initiatives for executive leadership and board members.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with international business operations, multi-currency consolidations, and global tax structures (GST/HST/PST).
  • Direct experience overseeing warehouse logistics technologies, mobile barcode scanning (WMS), and multi-carrier shipping integrations such as Pacejet/Radley.
  • Experience transitioning from legacy ERPs to modern SaaS ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the global implementation, configuration, and optimization of the cloud ERP ecosystem, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy on-premises systems.
  • Govern the architecture linking physical supply chain movements—including overseas contract manufacturing, inbound landed costs, and Minnesota warehouse fulfillment via Pacejet/Radley solutions—with IFS.
  • Maximize native SaaS functionality and minimize fragile custom code in infrastructure management.
  • Manage third-party system integrators, software vendors, and independent software vendors to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Partner with Internal Audit and external SOX consulting teams to implement, document, and test IT General Controls within ERP and BI environments.
  • Enforce multi-subsidiary Segregation of Duties matrices and user access control frameworks within the systems.
  • Oversee change-management protocols, data migration audit trails, and system documentation for quarterly and annual public audits.
  • Architect and manage the enterprise data warehouse strategy, consolidating transactional data from ERP, CRM, and global operations into a centralized data depository.
  • Lead the design, expansion, and delivery of executive dashboards, KPIs, and operational reports using modern BI tools.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and secure data access across corporate entities.
  • Lead the internal team and external implementation partners.
