About The Position

The Airport Lounge Design & Construction team is seeking a Construction (New Builds) Manager to lead delivery of large-scale airport lounge projects, including ground-up new builds and major expansions. The role manages innovative hospitality concepts and branded environments while driving approvals, schedules, and budgets for assigned locations. Under the guidance of the CM Program Lead, the manager oversees delivery from concept through completion and coordinates a structured handover to Operations and the Special Projects team. The role is a primary contact for internal cross-functional teams—including Design & Construction, Operations, Finance, and Guest Experience—at assigned active construction sites. The manager works closely with architects and engineers, building departments and code officials, general contractors, and construction managers, and ensures designs and experiences align with customer experience strategy and priorities. Airport and aviation experience is a plus. The position reports directly to the Airport Lounge Construction Program Lead and requires approximately 40–50% travel. It is designated hybrid and requires adherence to Capital One’s hybrid policy for on-site presence at the designated office location.
