About The Position

NYC Alliance is seeking a curious, motivated, and adaptable recent graduate for a rotational development program designed to build an understanding of how the business operates and prepare participants for future leadership opportunities. Through hands-on experience across multiple departments, mentorship, and day-to-day contributions, the trainee will develop practical business, analytical, and problem-solving skills while contributing to cross-functional projects. The trainee will also use AI tools to analyze data, improve processes, and identify opportunities to work more efficiently. Participants learn how each department operates by shadowing managers and team members during rotations.

Requirements

Recent graduate.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot, and a clear sense of how to apply them to real business problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis.
Willingness to rotate across departments: Design, Sales, Production, Marketing, Finance, and Store Operations.

Nice To Haves

A degree in business, economics, or management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist teams with day-to-day tasks and contribute to projects in each function.
Learn the key metrics each department tracks, including sales, costs, productivity, and customer satisfaction, and help prepare reports.
Use AI tools to analyze data, draft reports, and automate routine tasks.
Share ideas about where AI or process changes could help a team work more effectively.
Attend program training sessions, workshops, and mentor check-ins.
Reflect on learning in each rotation and present key takeaways at reviews.
Complete the capstone project and present it to leadership.
Rotate across Design, Sales, Production, Marketing, Finance, and Store Operations.
Shadow managers and team members during rotations.
