About The Position

Hertz is hiring an entry-level Management Trainee in Westerville. The role develops the skills needed to manage and grow a branch, with opportunities for advancement through the company’s promote-from-within structure. The position focuses on providing a positive customer experience, achieving sales and customer-service goals, supporting branch operations, and maintaining vehicles and facilities.

The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Comfort driving different types of vehicles.
• Ability to read and understand driving directions and maps.
• Proficiency in English.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing; applicants must be over 18.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales and/or retail customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive customer experience and help make Hertz the leading car rental company for customer experience.
• Meet individual sales and customer service goals.
• Grow sales using business-to-business sales tactics.
• Support the branch’s business plan by assisting management.
• Ensure cars are presentable to customers in accordance with company standards.
• Clean and service facilities to support customer satisfaction.
