The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level role designed to prepare participants for Store Management within 18–24 months. After successfully completing the initial eight-week training, participants may progress to Assistant Store Manager. The typical schedule is 44 hours per week and may include evenings and/or weekends. Participants collaborate with store management to oversee a million-dollar business and contribute to the store’s development and strategy. The program provides experience with store operations, customers, and internal strategy. The role also focuses on growing market share by selling high-volume products to commercial customers, including painting contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers, and other users. Training covers customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, while providing leadership development and professional networking opportunities. The position involves contact with customers, which may include minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Sherwin-Williams has determined that criminal-history review is necessary to protect its business, operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.
