About The Position

Works independently and as a team member in a broad range of departmental activities. These activities may include, but are not limited to technology planning and acquisition, development and maintenance of project management and system development methodologies, special OAS projects, interface projects, special training assignments, other specific projects, departmental marketing, research and development, consulting resource to various departments and/or clients as assigned by the Director and management of special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Flexibility and a positive attitude are very important
Must accomplish individual and group projects under deadlines and other constraints on an ongoing basis
Work assignments are deadline oriented with frequent multiple assignments and problem-solving opportunities
Excellent communication skills are vital as the Consultant will provide direction for clients, staff and vendors as well as lead efforts to resolve problems and difficulties in a given project
Requires moderate periods of sitting and/or standing and extensive use of CRT’s and PC’s
May require local and/or overnight travel
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 8 years extensive experience required
5 or more years of experience in leadership, consulting, vendor system or with payers required

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred
