About The Position

Northside Hospital is hiring a Mammography Tech to perform mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms. The role requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or the ability to perform mammography-related quality control (QC). The position involves working autonomously with indirect supervision. The stated work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; weekend and on-call work are not required.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Hold ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist, with certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)).
• Be qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or mammography-specific quality control (QC).
• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of mammography experience.
• One year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or mammography-specific quality control (QC).
• Experience in a clinical research setting.
