About The Position

Northside Hospital is hiring a Mammography Tech for its Forsyth location. The role requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or the ability to competently perform mammography-related quality control. The Mammography Tech performs all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, and works autonomously with indirect supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography, R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Be qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or mammography-specific quality control (QC).
• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in mammography.
• One year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or mammography-specific quality control (QC).
• Experience in a clinical research setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.
• Perform stereotactic biopsy and/or mammography-related quality control.
