About The Position
Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, continually growing healthcare organization. The Mammography Tech Lead coordinates daily activities and the distribution of work during the scheduled shift, monitors assigned staff, and serves as a professional resource. The role works with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and oversees tracking software to ensure exams are completed.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography, R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
- Have five years of experience in mammography as a technologist.
Nice To Haves
- Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities and distribute work during the scheduled shift.
- Monitor the work of assigned staff and act as a professional resource.
- Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Oversee Volpara, PACS, and QC Track software to ensure exam completion.
