About The Position

Performs and supervises daily mammography operations and provides leadership for the assigned area. The role is 70% patient care and 30% supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by keeping abreast of changes in technology and equipment. Ensures accreditation standards are maintained and performs tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment or devices as appropriate.

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
Three years of technical experience as a Mammography Technologist.
ARRT (M) Mammography registration.
BLS certification.
Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Experience leading personnel.
Knowledge of regulatory and ACR accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities
