Make Ready Technician
About The Position
Management Support is hiring a Make Ready Technician for Sky at Chandler Airpark, a 504-unit apartment property in Chandler, Arizona. The position pays $22.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and anticipated performance, and follows a full-time, 40-hour work schedule with rotating weekend coverage. The technician completes service requests for vacant apartments and promptly handles preventive and routine maintenance. The role works under the direction of the Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager and includes maintaining company-owned equipment and tools, securing them after use, and securing work areas when unoccupied. Management Support says it can train applicants with prior trades experience or maintenance experience at other multifamily management companies. It describes opportunities to advance to Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Foreman roles. Payroll is every two weeks by direct deposit. Requirements
- Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance, and repair skills.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator.
- Current driver's license and non-rated auto insurance, subject to verification.
- Ability to understand and follow written policies.
- Prior experience in the trades or maintenance at another multifamily management company; applicants with this experience may receive training.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC certification is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual ability in any language is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned service requests for vacant units (make ready).
- Promptly and expertly perform preventive and routine maintenance.
- Maintain property-owned equipment and tools and ensure they are properly secured after each use.
- Secure work areas according to policy when they are unoccupied.
- Work under the direction of the Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
- Understand and follow written policies.
