About The Position
Rite of Passage is hiring a Maintenance Worker at Sierra Sage Treatment Center in Yerington, Nevada. The role supports a safe and supportive environment for the youth served by the center. The Maintenance Worker completes general building maintenance work orders, maintains the vehicle fleet, and completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner. The listed pay is $19.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
- Pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
- Be able to prepare written reports and correspondence.
- Have excellent organization and time management skills.
- Be able to work at least 40 hours per week on a designated schedule, with the possibility of a varied schedule and overtime.
Nice To Haves
- Prior building maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete general building maintenance work orders, including changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, drywall and sheetrock repair, painting, lock and hardware adjustments, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, and re-lighting.
- Maintain smoke detectors and emergency lights.
- Perform grounds maintenance.
- Maintain the vehicle fleet.
- Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
