About The Position
Sandalwood Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the apartment property. The position performs a range of repairs and maintenance, prepares vacant units, completes work orders, maintains grounds, and handles 24-hour emergency maintenance. The technician also schedules and completes preventive maintenance programs and special projects as required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of multifamily housing maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, appliance repair, and installations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work on-call, evenings, and rotating weekends.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Smartphone.
Nice To Haves
- EPA Universal license.
- HVAC certification.
- Certified Pool Operator qualification.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance repairs involving electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, and appliances.
- Prepare vacant units.
- Complete work orders.
- Maintain grounds.
- Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance.
- Schedule and complete preventive maintenance programs and special projects as required.
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
