About The Position

Valvoline is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs at company-owned oil change facilities. Work covers general building systems, tire rotation lifts, pneumatic pumps, air compressors, portable equipment such as transmission flush, coolant, and A/C machines, carpentry, plumbing, and painting. The role includes retrieving, documenting, and completing work orders through the company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The technician relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field.
• Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Use and understanding of CMMS, plus computer skills such as MS Office and Excel or similar.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-service orientation.
• Organization and time-management skills.
• Professionalism.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand and walk or run for long periods, bend and twist, repeat movements, kneel, stoop, crouch or crawl, grasp, move or assemble objects, coordinate movement of multiple limbs while stationary, and lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance according to assigned schedules, work-order tasks, company and manufacturer recommendations, and industry standards.
• Complete break/fix work orders within specified service-level time frames and in compliance with company specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and industry standards.
• Complete or assist with special projects as assigned and in compliance with company standards.
• Assist other Maintenance Technicians as necessary and when directed.
• Inventory, order, and organize parts and materials in the maintenance vehicle and warehouse.
• Retrieve, document, and complete work orders using the company's CMMS.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline.
