About The Position

Village Green is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for The Junction in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The role involves completing work orders and special projects, handling maintenance and repairs in apartments and throughout the property, and providing friendly, customer service-oriented support to residents. Duties also include responding to on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, maintaining property curb appeal, and performing seasonal and other housekeeping tasks.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliances, and painting.
Excellent customer service skills.
General computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders and special projects in a timely manner.
Use HVAC knowledge in maintenance work.
Complete plumbing and electrical service requests and diagnose and repair electrical problems.
Complete apartment turns, including plumbing, electrical work, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair or replacement.
Serve residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner.
Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, completing them in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain the property's exterior daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal.
Perform housekeeping duties as required and snow removal during winter months when needed.
Maintain pools, spas, and pool areas when applicable.
