About The Position

Weinstein Properties is hiring an EPA-certified Maintenance Technician for its Addison Swift Creek community in Midlothian, Virginia. The position pays $22 per hour and up, depending on experience, and includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus, with details to be discussed during the interview process.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week), and participates in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team. On-call pay is $150 per week, whether or not calls occur, with an additional $150 for each holiday on-call. A quarterly bonus of up to $980 is based on property and team performance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work.
• Ability to work independently and be a reliable team player.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfort using computers and mobile devices, including Outlook and work order systems.
• Ability to drive a golf cart.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors year-round.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry issues.
• Help maintain the appearance of the community, including its grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.
