About The Position

Weinstein Properties is hiring an EPA-certified Maintenance Technician for the Bexley Donelson community in Nashville, Tennessee. The technician will handle maintenance and repair work in occupied and vacant apartments and help maintain the community’s grounds, amenities, and pool areas.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week), and includes participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule. Pay starts at $25 per hour and may be higher depending on experience. On-call compensation is $150 per week, whether or not calls occur, with an additional $150 for each holiday on call. Quarterly bonuses of up to $980 are based on property and team performance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in work.
• Ability to work independently and be a reliable team player.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfort using computers and mobile devices, including Outlook and work order systems.
• Ability to drive a golf cart.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors year-round.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Successful completion of a required background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry issues.
• Help maintain the community’s appearance, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.
• Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule.
