About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking an EPA-certified Maintenance Technician for Bexley Donelson in the Donelson area of Nashville, Tennessee. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity at a well-maintained residential community. The role involves hands-on maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartments, assistance with apartment turns and make-readies, and upkeep of the community’s grounds, amenities, and pool areas. The technician works with the maintenance team and participates in a rotating emergency on-call schedule. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Pay starts at $25 per hour and may be higher depending on experience. On-call pay is $150 per week, whether or not calls are received, plus an additional $150 for each holiday on-call. Quarterly bonuses of up to $980 are based on property and team performance.

Requirements

At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
EPA Certification, Type II or Universal.
Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
Strong customer service mindset and pride in work.
Ability to work independently and be a reliable team player.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.
Reliable transportation.
Comfort using computers and mobile devices, including Outlook and work order systems.
Ability to drive a golf cart.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work indoors and outdoors year-round, and climb stairs and ladders.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
Assist with apartment turns and make-readies.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry issues.
Help maintain the appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.
Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule.
