About The Position
Acura Marysville is hiring a motivated, dependable Maintenance Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections while working with an experienced service team. The position is suitable for candidates with automotive experience as well as those interested in developing their skills and advancing in the automotive industry. Eligible associates may ask about the HIRE 60 Automotive Service Training Program, which offers automotive service training while they are paid to learn. The role also involves contributing to a positive customer experience, following dealership and manufacturer standards, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe service bay.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and a desire to develop automotive service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.
- Willingness to learn and continue developing technical skills.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive maintenance or service experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other preventative maintenance.
- Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Complete assigned services accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate vehicle concerns and recommended repairs to Service Advisors.
- Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer service standards.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe service bay.
- Properly use and maintain tools and shop equipment.
- Work with Service Technicians and other team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Put customers and others first, ask for and offer help, create smiles, build relationships, and maintain a positive attitude while working with others.
