About The Position

LSS is hiring a service-minded maintenance professional to help keep its facilities safe, functional, and running smoothly. The role maintains facilities, grounds, and parking areas in accordance with generally approved safety and maintenance standards. Duties include preventative maintenance, upkeep, janitorial work, repairs, and responding to emergency calls. The position may involve working in adverse weather and traveling among LSS locations within Sioux Falls. The position is available full-time or part-time and is based at the Administration Office, with travel in town.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Some building maintenance experience.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, repair, or locate sources needed to complete equipment repairs.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to self-start, multitask, and prioritize daily work.
Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency auto insurance requirements.
