Apartment Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Sealy Management Company is seeking a talented and courteous Maintenance Technician for Aspen Village Apartments. The technician represents the company and property to residents and is expected to combine technical competence with customer-focused service to provide residents with an outstanding experience. Sealy owns and manages more than 9,500 apartments throughout the Southeast, develops and acquires properties, and is based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The role involves routine apartment maintenance, apartment turnovers, vendor coordination, and general property upkeep. The technician works with management, leasing, and maintenance teams to achieve property goals and must be willing to adapt as duties change from day to day. Overtime and scheduled on-call duties are necessary. Pay depends on experience.
Requirements
- Technical competence in apartment maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Represent the company and property professionally.
- Perform routine apartment maintenance, including drywall repair, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Plan and execute apartment turnovers, scheduling and working with vendors when necessary.
- Perform general property upkeep and ensure the community looks its best.
- Communicate effectively with management, leasing, and maintenance teams to achieve property goals.
- Adapt to changing job duties from day to day.
- Perform overtime and scheduled on-call duties.
