About The Position

Sorrento Bluff, a 127-unit garden-style community in Murrayhill in southwest Beaverton, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. The role supports the community by completing resident service requests and repairs, preparing apartments for new move-ins, maintaining exterior areas, assisting with vendors, and conducting routine equipment maintenance and inspections. The position emphasizes teamwork, customer service, professionalism, and timely completion of work.

Requirements

Knowledge of the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
Previous experience with painting, entry-level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
High level of professionalism in manner and dress.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service as part of a team.
Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner, including appliance repairs.
Prepare apartments for new move-ins by completing the make-ready process.
Maintain the cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas.
Assist with vendor management and other duties.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections for equipment.
