About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Williston, ND. This is a hands-on maintenance position at The Reserve at Elk Crossing community with guaranteed full-time hours. The role focuses on HVAC-related work orders, including diagnosing and repairing common HVAC issues, detecting and soldering refrigerant leaks, recharging freon gas, changing compressors and blower motors, replacing limit switches & fuses, and performing basic preventative maintenance like filter changes and coil cleanings. Depending on workload, responsibilities may also include non-HVAC repairs such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and unit turn maintenance. The position requires participation in a monthly rotation for on-call emergency duty (1 week every 3 weeks) and snow removal during the winter season. A written skills maintenance test will be part of the interview process, along with pre-employment screenings including a criminal background check, drug screening, and a valid Driver's License.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Ensure all assigned work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair common HVAC issues.
• Detect and solder refrigerant leaks.
• Recharge freon gas.
• Change failing compressors and blower motors.
• Replace limit switches & fuses.
• Perform other common HVAC repairs.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance including filter changes and coil cleanings.
• Perform non-HVAC repairs including plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Complete some unit turn maintenance and cleaning.
• Participate in a monthly rotation of a 24/7 on-call emergency cell phone (1 week every 3 weeks).
• Perform snow removal when needed during the winter season.
