About The Position

Residential Niche, in partnership with ADDA, is recruiting a Maintenance Technician in Pueblo, Colorado. The role performs maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on residential equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The technician responds to maintenance requests, including on-call requests and occasional after-hours emergencies, and performs snow removal as needed. The position also requires effective teamwork, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Other maintenance tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous experience as a Maintenance Technician.
Strong decision-making skills and a positive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Access to or ownership of basic tools required for maintenance work.
Valid, non-expired driver's license and insurance, plus reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds when necessary to perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and determine appropriate repairs.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, including changing air filters and smoke-detector batteries and replacing light bulbs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritize by urgency, and handle on-call requests and occasional after-hours emergencies.
Perform snow removal as needed.
Collaborate and communicate with team members to support workflow and timely project completion.
Use a problem-solving mindset and take pride in work.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned.
