Maintenance Technician - Part-Time

About The Position

Redstone Residential is hiring a part-time, hourly Maintenance Technician. The role protects, maintains, and enhances the value of the community while supporting a positive resident experience by resolving maintenance issues expertly and efficiently. The technician helps maintain the grounds, buildings, apartments, and common areas, assists with basic repairs and general maintenance, and supports apartment turnovers. The role also involves communicating maintenance or curb-appeal concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager, responding to emergencies according to policy, and participating in required training. Compensation is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic maintenance skills.
Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance.
Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.
Ability to work standing shifts of 8–10 hours.

Property management experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain the community’s grounds and buildings to support exceptional curb appeal.
Assist with basic repairs and general maintenance duties.
Demonstrate customer service and teamwork.
Keep the clubhouse, office, model, hallways, and other common areas safe, tidy, and sanitary.
Keep the property free of trash, debris, and animal waste.
Maintain grass and landscaping, including watering flowers.
Ensure apartments are presented in the best possible condition before new residents move in.
Oversee apartment turnovers.
Report maintenance or curb-appeal problems requiring further attention to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
Respond appropriately to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
Understand and comply with all policies and procedures.
Support resident satisfaction by meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Participate in Redstone training as required.
