About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join the team at Sheridan Springs Apartments. The role is responsible for property upkeep and maintenance, ensuring properties meet standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. It includes performing general repairs and preventive maintenance and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair.
• Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with tenants, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of Winfield Property Management.

Responsibilities

• Perform general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to facility equipment and systems.
• Inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance to keep plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems operating properly.
• Handle tenant service requests and complete repairs and maintenance tasks promptly while interacting with tenants professionally and courteously.
• Perform general onsite safety repairs to protect the property and residents.
• Refurbish residences before occupancy.
• Be on call for emergencies.
