About The Position

The Evening Maintenance Technician performs advanced work on production machines, troubleshoots equipment, and makes necessary repairs with minimal oversight from maintenance supervision. The role analyzes equipment problems, supports effective and efficient operation, and encourages development of daily goals and strategies. Responsibilities also include equipment setup, preventive maintenance documentation, basic machinist work, interpreting blueprints and part drawings, and maintaining an organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in a related technical field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair production equipment, assist with machine repairs, and train others in machine repairs.
• Use the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) work order system to document repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the plant.
• Set up new equipment, troubleshoot equipment using specialty tools, and determine effective repairs.
• Perform daily housekeeping and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Update supervisors on maintenance status and email end-of-shift reports daily.
• Perform basic machinist work using a vertical mill and lathe.
• Interpret blueprints and part drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
• Apply basic welding and fabrication knowledge.
