Full Time - Maintenance - Maintenance Technician - Oakdale Senior Village II
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician performs general repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the property portfolio, keeping property interiors, exteriors, and grounds clean and in good repair. The position uses materials and equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ directions and continually develops knowledge of the property. Duties include assisting with landscaping and irrigation systems. The employee is expected to complete work in a timely, dependable, and high-quality manner; maintain a clean, professional appearance in company-approved attire with an identification badge visible; and support positive resident and tenant relations. The role requires working independently, directing others when needed, communicating effectively, learning willingly, and participating in staff meetings and designated training. The employee must follow company policies and procedures and may be asked to perform reasonable tasks consistent with company objectives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of maintenance experience in a related field or formal training from a trade school.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Current liability insurance coverage.
- Able to work full time.
- Ability to work independently, direct others, communicate effectively, and learn.
- Must be honest, trustworthy, enthusiastic, team/project oriented, and customer-service oriented.
- Must maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance and wear company-approved attire with identification badge visible.
Responsibilities
