About The Position

Maintenance Technicians conduct general and preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures at Campus Edge, a Preiss community. The role also supports property safety, resident inspections, work orders, unit preparation for new occupancy, groundskeeping, and property turns. This job description is a guide rather than an all-inclusive list; duties and responsibilities may be modified, and additional duties may be assigned at a supervisor’s request.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of apartment or multi-housing maintenance experience.
• Ability to sit for long periods; use hands and fingers; speak, see, and hear; reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull; lift up to 25 pounds; walk and climb stairs; and think, concentrate, and communicate.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of apartment or multi-housing maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and support safety at the property.
• Conduct resident inspections.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appeal of the property.
• Complete work orders.
• Prepare units for new occupancy.
• Perform groundskeeping.
• Assist with property turns.
