About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Barclay at Little River. The role supports the upkeep and presentation of the senior living community, following a preventative maintenance program established by the Director of Facility Management. The technician helps maintain a clean, immaculate, and appealing building and grounds for residents, guests, referral sources, and prospective residents, and assists residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws.
Construction experience coordinating building repairs.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Follow the preventative maintenance program established by the Director of Facility Management, including paint touch-ups, grounds and building readiness tours, checking lights, clearing gutters and pathways, and removing trash and debris.
Manage time effectively and complete tasks within company time frames.
Keep the building and grounds clean, immaculate, and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources, and prospects.
Maintain accurate records for systems and equipment, including fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permits, nurse call systems, emergency backup generators, automobiles, HVAC, and PTAC service.
Assist new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
