About The Position
The Maintenance Technician I performs general custodial, groundskeeping, and maintenance tasks to help keep the facility, grounds, and equipment safe, well-maintained, and attractive in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Nice To Haves

- Building and grounds maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license as appropriate and an acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform general custodial tasks, including removing trash, washing windows and walls, moving furniture and supplies, and filling in for housekeeping duties as needed.
- Clean, buff, strip, and wax floors and clean carpets throughout the facility.
- Assist with building maintenance and construction work on interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal.
- Assist with general repairs to the facility and residents’ equipment.
- Safely operate hand and power tools and various machines, including floor-care, groundskeeping, and maintenance equipment.
