About The Position

Greek Peak Mountain Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain Hope Lake Lodge and resort facilities. The role involves performing a variety of repairs and maintenance, including light plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry, to keep the lodge safe, welcoming, and in good condition. The position runs year-round at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland, New York, with a flexible schedule tailored to busy periods. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available on weekends.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Have skills in plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Be friendly, positive, and committed to providing good service to guests and colleagues.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions.
• Be available to work weekends; nights and holidays may also be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on lodge buildings and fixtures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to respond promptly to room repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks and report safety issues requiring immediate attention.
• Assist other departments as needed to support a smooth, guest-centered environment.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly and helpful manner.
