About The Position

The Maintenance Technician works at AC Hotel-Miami Beach in Miami Beach, Florida. The role involves building, repairing, maintaining, and painting hotel areas and equipment; maintaining the swimming pool; assisting with equipment deliveries and setup; and responding to guest requests. The technician communicates with management and the maintenance team about assigned projects and attends scheduled training classes and meetings. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of experience, English fluency, a customer-service mindset, and schedule flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Build, repair, maintain, and paint all parts of the hotel.
Patch and repair drywall.
Visually inspect, test, and monitor machinery or equipment, including interior and exterior lighting.
Maintain the swimming pool, including cleaning, vacuuming, and testing chemical levels.
Perform tiling, flooring, and light carpentry, and repair furniture and fixtures.
Attend scheduled training classes and meetings.
Assist with delivery and setup of new equipment, such as televisions, mattresses, tables, and chairs.
Communicate with management and the maintenance team about assigned projects.
Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
