About The Position

Seva Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to keep its properties in top physical condition and provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. The role is split across three properties on a set schedule and includes routine maintenance, responding to repair requests, inspections, recordkeeping, and coordinating outside service providers. The technician may also support housekeeping and operations during high-occupancy periods and special projects.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend availability for emergencies. The listed pay is $22–$24 per hour.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial building, or multi-unit residential environment.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, basic plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, safety data sheets, and work order systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined or outdoor spaces as needed.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call emergency response.

Nice To Haves

• CPO (Certified Pool Operator), EPA 608, or HVAC certification is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain certifications; certification support is available.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems throughout the property.
• Respond promptly to guest room and common-area maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently and with minimal guest disruption.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records using available tracking systems.
• Regularly inspect property grounds, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and guest rooms to identify and address issues before they escalate.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors for work beyond in-house capabilities, and monitor work quality and completion.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety codes, OSHA standards, and brand-specific property maintenance requirements.
• Support housekeeping and operations teams during high-occupancy periods and special projects as needed.
