About The Position

National Church Residences is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its vision of advancing better living and care for seniors at Blessing Court, a 104-unit property at 3100 Blessing Court, Bedford, Texas. The position is 40 hours per week and includes full-time benefits. The technician performs routine and preventive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs building and unit issues, and helps keep common areas safe and clean. The role also includes maintaining inventory and records, complying with safety regulations and building codes, and supervising or mentoring junior maintenance staff when applicable. The position requires 24/7 on-call availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, for maintenance emergencies. A monthly mobile phone allowance is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience.
Skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational training.
Relevant certifications, such as HVAC or OSHA certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Maintain interior and exterior common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance, and general repairs.
Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff, when applicable.
Manage inventory and submit maintenance records and reports.
Comply with all safety regulations and building codes.
Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed while on call, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
