Summary The successful candidate must reside within a reasonable radius of Sioux Falls, SD. This position is subject to both pre-employment and random DOT drug testing. This position is responsible for all routine and unscheduled maintenance of all equipment including safety checks within area of responsibility along with other assigned duties. Duties include: Responsible for handling One-Calls including communications with excavators and landowners Act as liaison with emergency responders and local damage prevention groups Responsible for pipeline right of way maintenance including marker replacement and ROW maintenance Responsible for maintenance of pump stations, motors, valves and actuators Responsible for all regulatory compliance checks Responsible for relieving other Maintenance Tech’s in the area when they are on leave Perform routine facility inspections including housekeeping

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
  • Must be able to become qualified on Operator Qualified tasks
  • Must be able to work independently as well with others
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to adapt to rapidly changing conditions
  • Initiative and organization abilities for meeting deadlines and establishing priorities required

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical experience preferred
  • Pipeline maintenance experience is preferred
  • Safety training and hazard training preferred
  • Computer experience preferred

Responsibilities
