About The Position

Quad is seeking motivated individuals to join our Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Apprenticeship Program in Pewaukee. This program combines paid, hands-on training with related instruction to develop the skills needed to maintain and repair industrial manufacturing equipment. This program is ideal for current Quad employees seeking career advancement and students in mechanical or industrial maintenance programs.

Requirements

  • Motivated individual
  • Willingness to participate in an 8,000-hour structured apprenticeship
  • Ability to learn safety and operations, including OSHA standards, tools, and equipment operation
  • Ability to learn mechanical systems: bearings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, motors
  • Ability to learn hydraulics & pneumatics: system components, troubleshooting, repair
  • Ability to learn installation & setup: rigging, alignment, equipment start-up
  • Ability to learn maintenance: preventive and predictive diagnostics
  • Ability to learn machining & fabrication: shop equipment, welding, and basic metalwork

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Participate in paid, hands-on training
